Our main mission at StarSmilez is to help educate children on the importance of great oral health habits. That is why we were so excited when Dr Steve Nelson reached out to us. Dr. Nelson, with Central Point Family Dentistry, sponsored an amazing and innovative exhibit at The Kid Time Discovery Museum located in Medford, OR. This is exhibit is unlike any we have seen. Here, children get to see all aspects of a dental office from receptionist to hygienist to dentist to patient, this covers it all. 

How it got started

       Dr Nelson approched the museum with the idea to create a hands on learning experince that would engage and educate children about dental health and dentistry. The Doctor Pearl E Whites Dental Exhibit has some great dental facts about sugar, bottle tooth decay and so much more. The pictures below are just a small sample of what you will find at Kid Time Discovery Museum. 

What is Kid Time

       The Kid Time Discovery Museum Kid Time is a nonprofit children’s discovery museum and early learning center.  Kid Time has been going strong for over 10 years with a mission to provide a rich and varied environment (exhibits, programs, preschool) for free-play along with both instructed and monitored activities.
